APRIL CUB NEWSLETTER

Well, it is now the end of March and March Break is over, but hopefully, not forgotten. Hope everyone had a great break as well as a very Happy Easter.

As a reminder, the Web site is up and running although the new schedule for the balance of the year will be a few days before it is updated as per the info below.

The website is

www.mountalbertscoutgroup.com

Again, I am reminding everyone about our weekly dues. There are still a number of youth that have outstanding dues from Sept. to Dec. period. You may wish to pay for the balance of the year as well in advance.

Please see Shere Khaan for your outstanding balance. There is also a number of youth who have not yet paid for Kub Kars - $5.00 each. Please arrange to pay Shere Khaan for these as well.

BADGE TESTING

There will be opportunities for on going badge testing throughout the coming months, please remind the youth to see Shere Khaan at the beginning of the meeting to book in badge testing requests.  Last year I issued a badge challenge for Cubs which was highly successful.

BADGE CHALLENGE - Again this year, I will be issuing the same challenge as last year. Any Cub successfully completing 5 badges between this week – March 27 and May 15 will get a special camp fire blanket crest. That gives each youth 8 weeks to complete 5 Badges, Stars and/or Awards or any combination of the 3. Are you up for the Challenge??? The blanket crest will be awarded on Thursday May 22.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to talk to one of the leaders.
